 Dear Ones,

As I sit down to write to all of you, I just keep thinking about how God always causes us to triumph, when our hearts are fixed on Him!  So I looked the verse up in a couple of different translations to share with you:

2Co 2:14a But thanks be to God! For in union with Christ we are always led by God as prisoners in Christ's victory procession…  Good News Bible

2Co 2:14a But, thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph--as trophies of Christ’s victory…  Amplified Bible

So, although we make our plans, God orders our steps and redirects them when necessary!  No matter what’s going on, if we just keep in mind that we are captives of Christ’s and we are in HIS victory procession, then whatever lies the devil and circumstances try to tell us, we can just laugh, because we know Christ already has the victory!

My steps were reordered to Virginia Beach, on assignment for my sister in April.  She had major surgery with resulting complications.  But God is prevailing and she is growing stronger in body and faith daily!  We have seen His hand at work through medical personnel and through the Body of Christ.  He continues to provide for her needs, as she is still out of work as her incision heals.  They took out 12 inches of infected bowel.  She had been terrified she would need to wear a colostomy bag.  We all prayed and confessed God’s Word and the doctor performing the surgery allowed me and our friend Lori to lay hands on him and pray for him right before the surgery.  I declared him to be God’s chosen instrument and guided by the Almighty, and so he was!  She came out of surgery with no bag!  God is glorious and receives all honor and praise, but much thanks to all of you who held us up!

Ukraine awaits my return.  I called and e-mailed them to let them know it would now have to be fall before I can come back.  I have so many projects for summer to complete for them, such as Story Corner #2!  One whole bookcase is full of books, and Tom’s mom has about 300 more for me!  I shall have many delightful stories to read to them, to help with their English.  But, unless I can get a VCR for 3 of the schools, they will have to listen by cassette only and not get the visual effects that go with each story.

Other projects include our “Back to School” drive and Christmas for the children.  I have been contacted saying that a retired minister wishes to visit churches to “pitch” the “Back to School” program for us!  I am so very blessed!

God has also begun to touch people’s hearts and raise up supporters for the ministry, so we can flow a little more easily in completing projects and getting them shipped in a timely manner.  Praise God for each of you who do your part to help and thus become His heart and His hands extended!  Every little bit is so appreciated.

We now have 6 pastors in India and Africa that I am “mentoring” with faith-filled articles and teaching materials.  They are requesting books and tapes for their libraries to help their congregations to grow in faith.  I send articles via e-mail almost daily!  Several of them have requested I come and work with them as they go into the villages.  One pastor in India is named Solomon.  He and his wife just had their second baby girl.  He has 38 pastors under him to encourage and oversee.  Solomon would like me to come and hold a pastor’s seminar for his pastors, and then have an evangelizing crusade!  I continue to seek God for His timing and release to do so…

Solomon’s Dad and Mother have 25 orphans sleeping in the church on the floor.  They use their pension to feed them what they can!  Solomon is trying to finish a building that would house the orphans and some widows and him and his family.  He wants to take the outcast Hindu women and show them the love of Jesus and raise them up into a mighty army of intercessors!  In India, when the husband dies, the woman is reduced to beggar status with no rights and no home.  But, in Christ, these women are valuable and God has a wonderful plan for their lives to show them that their latter years will be better than their former!  If God tugs on your heart for any of these varied needs, please be obedient like the widow who put in her mite.  In the eyes of Jesus, it was a tremendous amount and He was well pleased.

I also have a pastor in Uganda who was disowned by his father when he accepted Christ.  In fact, the father “threatened his life unto death,” but God protected him.  He now runs a ministry whose emphasis is revival in Africa!  He too needs support.  He just married last year, and they are expecting their first child!  He recently was struck with malaria, which is a tropical disease that has run rampant in Africa.  We have been praying for his total healing, and Praise God, he is on the mend!  Malaria can be deadly.

Tom has been busily packing up boxes of clothing and, currently, we have 10 pallets ready to ship!  We thank God for Whelan’s storage, who donated space to us, as we have used all available space that Able Ministers had previously donated to us, and also, all of our friend Karen’s basement!  As you can see, we are expanding rapidly!  Thank You Lord, for every joint that supplieth!

Each of you is vital in this end time harvest.  Don’t belittle your role, or negate your part.  It is time for the WHOLE church to evangelize the WHOLE world.  It takes all of us doing our parts individually and collectively, to get this accomplished.  I thank God for each of you and want you to know Tom and I value your friendship, prayers, and partnership.

For those of you that feel you are called to an intercessory prayer role for this ministry, I would like you to make that known to me by either phone or letter.  I have a special packet I want to share with you.

Thanks again for all that you do to help us make all this possible.  And, thank You, Lord!  Remember, you are in the glory train of triumph with Christ leading you onward in total victory!  God Bless You.

Love,

         Nancy and Tom
